What we do

The Gwent Badger Group is run entirely by a group of volunteers who give our time freely. 

 

We try to answer as many enquiries and call outs as possible from concerned members of the public or police regarding badgers. We're also available to give educational talks on badgers to schools and other interested groups who require a speaker. We have our own reserve where members can arrange to watch the badgers and sometimes photograph them at close quarters.

We pay a yearly fee to the national organisation Badger Trust in order to be an affiliated group, benefit from their resources and keep up to date with national campaigns.
